Designed to deliver exceptional shooting stability in a highly portable package, the Springfield Armory Kuna is a premium personal defense weapon (PDW) chambered in 9mm. Built around a sophisticated roller-delayed operating system, this platform dramatically reduces felt recoil and minimizes muzzle flip, offering unmatched shot-to-shot control and faster follow-up shots.

The Kuna features a durable monolithic aluminum upper receiver paired with a lightweight, glass-filled polymer lower receiver. It is equipped with a 6-inch cold radial hammer-forged, Melonite-treated barrel that features a 1/2x28 threaded muzzle and a multi-port muzzle brake, making it an excellent host for a suppressor.

Engineered for seamless engagement, the platform boasts fully ambidextrous controls—including the safety, magazine release, and bolt release—along with a reversible, non-reciprocating charging handle. This model comes complete with innovative hybrid flip-up sights that can be used flat as low-profile emergency sights or flipped up for standard adjustable iron sights. Enhancing its stability is the included Strike Industries FSA single-side folding brace, mounted to an integrated rear Picatinny rail end plate for quick deployment and compact storage.
