The Spanish Mauser M1916 .308 Win is a, light-recoiling, bolt-action short rifle (approx. 21.75-inch barrel) produced at the Oviedo factory and originally based on the 1893 Mauser "small ring" action. In the 1950s, these were re-chambered for 7.62x51mm NATO for police/training use, often featuring a bent bolt, five-round capacity, and a Falangist crest.
