Are you an FFL dealer?
Yes we are a Federal Firearms License holder capable of handling all of your firearm purchase and inbound transfer needs. We do not handle outbound transfers.
Can I buy a gun online?
Absolutely! You will complete the payment portion of your purchase online. Make sure of your local and state laws before you pay. https://www.nraila.org/gun-laws/
If you are local, you will need a valid ID to pick up the firearm.
You must be 18 or older to purchase a rifle or shotgun and 21 or older to purchase a handgun.
You will fill out a Form 4473 when you arrive to pick up your purchase. If you have valid ID and a NC Concealed Carry Handgun permit that is current, with matching information on both, that’s all we need.
If you don’t have a valid NC Concealed Carry Handgun permit, we will call the Federal NICS system to run a background check. If they provide a “proceed” answer, we can transfer your purchase immediately. If your check comes back “delayed” we will not transfer your purchase until we receive a “proceed” from the NICS center. Denied checks will not be transferred and you will incur a restocking penalty on your purchase.
Inbound transfers
We also receive firearms for you from other FFL dealers. Please make sure that your phone number and name are included in the order so that we can contact you when your order arrives. As with other dealers, we charge a fee to process inbound transfers. Be aware that purchasing a firearm from us includes benefits that may offset any savings you made on your purchase from another dealer, such as one month of free unlimited range use.
Antique (prior to 1898) and many black powder firearms do not require a 4473.
Due to the ever-changing nature of state laws, we reserve the right to cancel any order to comply with the law.
Do you honor online prices in-store?
We will honor our online prices in the store on same day purchases, not for layaway purchases, special orders, or trades, as prices may vary over time.
Do you price match other sites?
We do not price match other online or offline retailers. There are many extra benefits when you shop with ProShots, such as one month free range access. We offer competitive prices and ensure they are with regular review.
Do you charge sales tax?
We will charge all applicable State sales tax at checkout.
Do you accept trades?
Yes, we accept trades. We use the Blue Book of Gun Values to set a value for your trade. We allow 70% of the Blue Book value on trades. If you are just selling the gun to the store, we allow 60% of the Blue Book Value. We evaluate trades based on condition, desirability, availability, and our current inventory. Please come in and talk to us in person.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept Cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover
Do you have layaway plans?
Layaways can be set up in person, in the store.
50% down holds your purchase for 30 days.
If we haven’t received full payment after 30 days your layaway will be canceled and a 20% restocking fee will be applied.
Return Policy
We cannot accept returns of firearms, knives, night vision products, black powder guns or ammunition.
Other items may be returned within 30 days of receipt. They must be unused and in original packaging.
Damaged or used product, including parts that have been previously installed, can not be returned.
A restocking fee of 20% may apply to returned items.
Canceled orders will be charged a 20% restocking fee.
Please allow up to 5 business days to credit back to your original form of payment.
Membership Cancellation
Monthly memberships: Monthly recurring payments are drafted on the day of your initial purchase each month. In order to avoid a recurring charge, you should cancel your monthly membership at least 2 business days before

Ammunition Sales
Always make sure you are purchasing the correct ammunition for your firearm. All ammunition sales are final.
Federal law requires that you must be at least 18 to purchase shotgun and rifle ammo and 21 or older to purchase handgun ammo.
